Nobody is attacking Jews. Many Jews themselves are speaking out about the issue, and it is perfectly legitimate to distinguish criticism of a government or its policies from hostility towards Jewish people.

We don't know that - there is 1st Amendment Rights for a start and just saying Free Palestine wouldn't be upheld as hate speech in a US court so Karft may legally not have a leg to stand on. Ed should have legally stick by his mate and forced the venues to back down. As it is he may lose the whole tour anyway along with his reputation.

What we are seeing playing out here is the almost equanimity in youth culture of standing with Palestine. Israel for the first time in it's short history has totally lost the global room with the young and it ain't just nut job lefties like me as it was in the past. Social media + genocide = resistance. And the likes of Kraft with his wealth and levers doesn’t get what has happened here. Ed's touring band itself have now all pulled the plug.
