Hi folks

I'm not really sure where to start this story or how much detail to put in the first post but here goes....

I have a unique Hillman Imp pick-up and have one photo of it from when it was relatively new.

After years of detective work I've established the man in the driver's seat is Neil C Morrison who owned the vehicle in 1974.

Neil must be getting near 90 now and I'm 99% sure he emigrated to Thailand about 4 years ago.

He was originally from the Stratford On Avon area (Snitterfied/Tiddington) and was a successful business-man and clay-pigeon shooting champion.

Last night I found he was alive and well in 2022 so I'm going to have one last try at locating him.

I want to contact him to let him know the Imp is being saved/restored just now and also to ask if he has any photos of it and pick his brains on a few interior details.

As I say I only have this one and, amazingly, all the features in it survive apart from the cover on the back and the wing-mirrors on the bonnet. There is also something missing from the wooden dashboard and I think Neil may remember what that was
