First up I know zip about tv options.

So just moved into new condo.

(first move in 13 years)

My X was helpful to set me up with True Vision package (think 599b/month).

I also have a Netflix package.

So my issue: yes I can watch Netflix however have no free to air TV channels.

There is a coaxial plug in the wall however doubt this complex (old) has antenna access.

My questions. Would getting a cable to connect wall socket to TV do anything.

Also is there any add on package that True might have.

I miss the (Australia) ABC tv that my previous condo had.

I'm wanting that mainly for the AFL (Oz football)

Movies etc I'm happy with Netflix.

Any help very welcome. TIA

Check with condo office, they may have TV available, i have Sophon cable which the office purchases for everyone, if they do then it maybe worth getting connected

True have various packages--your 599 baht is probably the lowest and give SFA. So to get ABC and many other news and other good channels you would need to upgrade to about their Gold package.

Yeah I figured as much so will send my X to true shop to discuss options.

Fortunately the X has condos in this complex so can chat with office manager.

I have the basic True Visions package 599 baht ( around 640 with vat ) which includes a decent WiFi, the True Visions comes via internet so no co axial to wall socket involved ( my co axial runs from router to True box only).

The tv is basic but we rarely have the tv on unless the mil visits then it is Channel 23 day and night !

Not a great sports fan so don’t know about any additional packages, it is reliable though, very little downtime in the last 9 years.

Has a couple of film , history and geography channels that can be watched in their original language ( I think that facility comes from the tv ) was handy when watching World Cup etc to get English commentary.

Just found this attachment on internet search. Seems True has family package that includes abc tv (Australia)

That with Netflix would have my needs covered.
