Has anyone taken out personal Accident insurance in Thailand that covers most types of general accidents and car accidents, mainly medical? Specifically for physical injuries, disability, or death resulting from sudden external events.

Yes, i used it the last few years, claimed recently and they paid up no problem, direct with the hospital, the advantage is preexisting conditions are irrelevant so more likley to pay the claim

Pre-existing condition......... like a broken leg?

Or are you saying you can effectively get medical coverage for something like a stroke due to pre-existing hypertension?

With health insurance they will scramble about trying to find a preexisting condition, heart disease, diabetes whatever to deny the claim. With an accident it's straight forward, you understand what an accident is?

Sorry, no I don't understand.

Just to clarify; you are saying you have cover for an accident, which I take to mean any physical injury.......so how does the pre-existing condition relate to anything?.......oh wait.....do you mean if you have a fall say, and you are known to suffer from vertigo.....the coverage is remains valid......where as with health insurance they would walk away?
