September 7, 200718 yr Hi Guys! I`m planning to apply for a tourist Visa double entries and need some clarifications. First, can I stay longer then 90 days in total including the extension of 30 days? Can we still use the second entry after 90 days and and obtain another 60 days+30 days extension? IF no, here`s the problem I`m facing! I`m looking to book my airplane tickets and for the return date, the only availability, is after 102 days of stay. Can we extend like before by this way? 60days(Tourist Visa)+30 days Extension+14days Extension Suggestions will be appreciated! N.B. I don`t realy wanna use my second entry to be outside Thailand for 14 days. Thanks guys!
September 7, 200718 yr You can normally use a two entry 60+30 and 60+30 if here on a normal tourist visit. You can not extend for longer than 7 days beyond a 90 day stay so 60+30+7 might fly with airline tickets to prove departure during that time. You will not receive +14. You can cross border and ask to use the 30 day visa exempt entry rather than your second visa entry (don't write the visa information on arrival card).
September 7, 200718 yr Author Thanks Lopburi3! If I understand correctly it`s still possible to stay 180 consecutive days! Just the same as it was 2 years ago? I was thinking that it was maximum 90 days and 6 months out! No? It change again or they clarified the rules? Cheers!
September 7, 200718 yr You would have to make a quick exit/return but yes you can stay an unlimited amount of time on visa entry - only the visa exempt entry is restricted to 90 days in a six month period. There is no restriction on returning with a visa even then.
