I just got the opportunity to work in Thailand. Im a programmer/3D Artist and one of my close friends works at a production house in BKK. Im currently staying in Thailand on TV. How would i go about obtaining a WP? If im not misinformed, witch i completely possible btw, i need a Non-immegrant B visa first. Is that something i can have processed here in thailand at the appropriate governmental instances or need i travel back home (sweden) to get that done?

The company that will hire you will provide you the necessary paperwork (or should) and you will have to leave Thailand and goto a Thai Embassy somewhere (Singapore is a popular option). There you will need to apply for the Non Imm B Visa which may or may not be granted.

You will not be able to get the Non Imm B Visa within Thailand itself, this has to be obtained outside of Thailand itself.

At least, thats always the way its worked for me.
