Symbol On Thai Money & Royal Palace

Hello all, I have a question. Whilst a-wondering around the Royal Palace this very same day last year, I came across a strange symbol. It looks like a light house with several beams coming out of it, with a circular text-like pattern underneath.

A few days ago I was looking at a 20 bhat note, and it was on there too.

Coinsidance? I think not!

What oh what is it?

That's it on the 500 bhat note, to the left the kings face on the front.

It's probably the Royal headgear that is part of the Royal Condiments. Others are the umbrella and the slippers. I can't remember them all.

I'm sure someone more knowledgable on the subject will be along to correct me shortly.

That's what I thought as well. I can't find a picture, but I think in the old pictures of the coronation ceremony at one point he wears this or something similar.
