I live in Phuket and my parents are visiting Thailand for the first time in november. I was wondering if anyone can bestow me some advice on decent hotels that I could put them up in for a couple of days?

I am looking for something smart, but not too expensive and located in a central position.

My budget is probably up to 2,000bht per night, maybe a little more although my father can be a tight so and so.

Walking distance to skytrain, good location and hotel is lovely. I've been using them for years - no grumbles.

The Best value Hotel in Bkk in my opinion is Dynasty Grande cnr soi 4 and soi6 5 mins walk to Nana bts

Baan Sukhumvit Soi 20, real friendly nice very clean rooms very quite suit an older couple and breakfast 1500 baht

Thank you for the information. I tried to book the Majestic Suites for this Friday and Saturday nights, but they only have a room on Saturday night. I've just booked a room at Baan Sukhumvit so I'll see how this place works out.

What about the Majestic Grande?

Well Majestic Grande is prob dbl what Majestic Suites is. However the Grande is very nice and I recommend them if you want to spend the extra dosh.
