BANGKOK, Sept 17 (TNA) - The Council for National Security (CNS) will ask the government next week to lift martial law in 11 of a total of 35 provinces now that the country is returning to democratic rule and so that military rule would not be blamed for any shortcomings or failures in the electoral contests by any party, according to CNS spokesman Col.
