Years ago my first bf had a small apartment (groundlevel) with two rooms where he lived with a mate and his Great Dane. Regularly we heard in the night first a dull boink, followed by lots of grumbling and cursing. Oh, we said to each other, the Dane has streched himself again while lying on the bed between owner and wall .... :o

The dog also had only one eye. So, one afternoon while my bf was resting on the couch he felt something heavy on him. When opening his eyes he looked straight into that one eye .... :D Hawkeye was his name. Wonderful dog!

it looks very familiar to a staff but it looks a little larger ie taller/fatter than a pure bred staff.its hard to tell how tall it really is as no one standing next to it but looks like a cross breed and might have staff and some sort of mastiff too ......maybe???

Does anyone know what dog this is?

My guess is an American Pit Bull Terrier a bit overweight though, maybe an American Staffordshire terrier, but looks a little small. The term pit bull is used to describe both dogs, as the Am Staff is basically the show version of the APBT. In the US English Staffs are often also called 'Pit Bulls'.

It could also be an English Staff cross (lab maybe?) but this is doubtful because there are very few English staffs in Thailand.

Where was the photo taken? Are your neighbors letting this dog run around outside off leash?
