Wanted:

VoIP telecom engineer responsible for design validation, deployment and advanced troubleshooting of VoIP solutions based on Quintum, Cisco and other vendors.

This will include all aspects and components of Cisco and Quintum Voice Gateways, Gatekeepers, softswitches, LAN/WAN switches and routers as well as 3rd party software. Experience with several different prepaid and postpaid billing platforms will be a plus.

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3 years experience in VoIP and network design and operation in a carrier environment

Responsibilities:

Investigate and monitor the current network topology including special attention to utilization, technology and capacity requirements

VoIP network extensions, new design, implementation and validation

Support of all major VoIP components including network switches and routers, gateways softswitches and billing systems

SIP, H.323 and MGCP Gateway deployments

Strong interpersonal communications skill in both English and Thai.

Please note: preference will be given to Thai nationals, however the company is capable of offering a work permit for the right candidate. Job location is in central Bangkok.

Compensation: 40,000 - 60,000 baht per month.
