A couple of days ago I came across the following entry in August's UCB magazine:

17:00 Snooker Thailand 2004 World Championship Vs. Asian Stars

001: Day 1: Session 1

Now I spent a while searching the web and it looks like it's a live event, happening this week in Thailand:

Snooker Thailand Championship

I'd love to see some good snooker live, the only problem is that I just can't find the location of this tournament. I know in the past some have been held in the Queen's Park Hotel but good old Google didn't help in this case.

Does anyone know more details about this event? Or maybe a search in Thai could help?

Looks like it's happening at the BEC Tero Hall in Suan Lum.

And tickets are sold on the day of the match.
