most of those wires are dead ,if theres something wrong they just replace it and leave the old one there .....

It was taken on a quick work break at Patong IIRC. More as a wind up for our electrical contractor than anything else.

Personally I have been stunned at the installations and what is deemed acceptable on sites in Thailand and Malaysia, but then again, its not me getting the 'whack', so if they are happy...hey ho
