My husband is a commercial electrician (union member) with over 15 years experience- does anyone know about this specific job market in Thailand? What are the chances of him getting employment? Is there a union? can anyone recommend employment websites? thank you in advance for your help!!

The outcome would depend on whether or not electricians are covered under the same umbrella as other building trades as a restricted occupation under the Foreign Business Act, and unfortunately I think they are.

nothing to stop him running a consultancy services. But he'd have to get around business ownership rules for foreigners. It would help plenty if you as the wife were a Thai national.
