jeebusjones
I need to extend my tourist visa soon. I know the main immigration office is on Suan Plu, but isn't there another office near the airport? I'd heard it was Novotel Hotel. Is that the Novotel in Bangna, or Novotel at the airport? Is this office suitable for a tourist visa extension, or might they be stricter and less friendly than at Suan Plu? Thanks
lopburi3
Office is in Novotel at the airport. Believe they can extend visa and do not believe it would be any different that Suan Plu.
jeebusjones
Thanks Lopburi. I did the extension this morning. There was no wait at all, the whole thing took about 15 minutes. Much better than Suan Plu.
kittyinbangkok
Office is in Novotel at the airport. Believe they can extend visa and do not believe it would be any different that Suan Plu. Is this office really inside the hotel or nearby? Thank you for your answer...
lopburi3
Every report I have seen places it within the hotel.

cali4995
I started wondering why they would set-up a new immigration office 300m from Suvarnabhumi? After reading a few related articles, it seems a few hundred people every year get arrested attempting to depart. And an almost equal number are denied trying to enter. So the blacklist system is apparently alive and well. Maybe they don't do the volume of Suan Phlu but they get their share of star players. Hopefully, Jeebusjones will return and can elaborate on his experience since there seems to be a real scarcity of information on this place.
