ouncil for National Security (CNS) chief Gen Sonthi Boonyaratkalin has ordered the production of a TV documentary to recount ''the true scenarios'' involving the detention of all former key Thai Rak Thai members after the coup, according to a CNS source.

The planned production of the documentary has been prompted by accusations made by Newin Chidchob, a former Thai Rak Thai member, that soldiers ordered him to strip before setting him free on a street in Bangkok after being detained by the coup-makers for 10 days.

Mr Newin made his accusations at a campaign rally for the People's Power party (PPP) in Buri Ram this week.

The CNS has denied Newin's claim.

However, the source said Gen Sonthi was extremely upset by the accusations.

The planned documentary is to feature the daily life of former key Thai Rak Thai party members from the first to the last day of their detention after the coup.

Mr Newin, Yongyut Tiyapairat, Pol Gen Chidchai Wannasathit, Somchai Wongswadi, and Prommin Lertsuridej were among the 111 TRT executives banned from politics for five years by the Constitution Court.

On Sept 19, Pol Gen Chidchai, Mr Somchai, ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra's brother-in-law, and Mr Prommin were taken into military custody and detained for two days.

However, Mr Newin and Mr Yongyut were detained for 10 days from Sept 23 to Oct 1.

Hope it has all those circus noises like Boing!!! Whizz! and Twang!! in it, just like the soap operas. :o

I wonder what the film is going to be called?

"Carry on up the Junta", would probably be most appropriate.

mrtoad>> As long as they abuse the retarded guy and laugh at the katoy tripping it will be like thai tv, right? :/

How about, "Dumb and Dumber" (Needs no explainig) or "Good morning Vietnam" in response to the FBA. :D

However they do it you can be sure that it will be unbiased; carefully exploring both sides of the issues.

Is one year long enough to revise history, I thought you had to wait two.

Wow..."Scary Movie 5" :o.... now in production!

:D
