Hua Hin In October

Featured Replies

What are the sea conditions like in October. Plan on taking the family on vacation for two weeks in mid October. However, if the water is too rough will try elsewhere.

I don't recall rough conditions in October. Unless there's a storm in the Gulf, it's not rough. Who knows something more detailed?

  • 2 weeks later...

I was there late September 2006 and the sea was fine never rough, rained every day for a couple of hours but then the sun came out. I liked the place and intend to go back early next year when its not rainy season. Enjoy your trip.

Weather is fine then, seldom rains all day. About an hour around 4pm most days so just take shelter behid a newspaper with a cold one at hand.

No worries!

It could rain at any time, it's rainy season. The sea is not rough but hardly anyone swims there - all are around their hotel's pool. Rough sea conditions - it's rare and more likely around Xmas.

IMO, 2 weeks in Hua Hin (it's a nice place, don't get me wrong) is a bit too long at any time of a year, especially in October when there might be room confinements (due to rain) almost every day for some hours.
