I suggested that my wife may have more success with cuttings if she used some rooting powder to help get them started.

At this point total confusion ensued

So what is Thai for 'rooting powder', Thai script and transliteration if possible please. I am of couse, assuming that we will be able to get it in Thailand

I've seen both a powder and a liquid in Thailand. Talked to my staff about it, she's not sure of the "Thai name" either but would just call it the stuff that makes the plants root

I am pretty sure BigC carries it in their miniscule gardening section.
