I love this picture. How many attractive young women would be tending to this guy for love or money back home? This pic sums up why they come, and why they will continue to come.

With a bit of luck his wife and sister (I'm talking about 1 girl BTW) will see the pic and story!!!!

Maybe he's one of TV's own? Look out for a new thread tomorrow: "Last night me 'n' my mate had a bit of a ruckus. What should I do?

Yep, he posts here a wide variety of usernames and often inquires whether he needs a real TEFL certificate. Expect that it should be kinda quiet for a while.

The local Pattaya branch of the British Council, headquartered at The Dog's <deleted>, Soi Yamato, may close to allow time for anxious staffers to visit Mr. Kevin's hospital room; so if yer own bird is gettin' lessons there, she may be off a day or two.

Fellow Brits' Fight over Bargirl

011007_6.jpg

Two British friends had an argument over liking the same bargirl and while walking down Soi 7, Pattaya Second Road, the argument led to a fight to get one injured while the other fled.

Sawang rescuers and Pattaya Police rushed to Pattaya Soi 7 at 9.30 pm on Saturday 29th September as soon as they were informed of the street fight.

On arrival they found a Mr. Kevin, aged 40, from England suffering from a serious head wound. Sawang rescuers quickly gave the man first aid and took him to the hospital.

Since Kevin was in no shape to give any statement, the police questioned witnesses at the scene to find that Kevin walked into the Soi with a friend and they both seemed drunk. From the loud argument, witnesses caught a few words sensing that they had a fight over liking the same woman who works in a bar and then a fist fight took place.

When Kevin was punched, he lost balance and hit his head on a post, which supposedly caused the wound and instead of helping the friend ran off.

Maybe the story had a happy ending?

Friend and 'Nok' have been living together happily ever since? After he had left the competition in a pool of blood! :o

I would venture to say that most of the supposed attacks on "nice elderly foreign tourists or residents just going about their own business" that we hear about from so many people are actually altercations with drunken old gits like this fella...only difference being this time he happened to get into a fight with one of his own and not some Thai fella.

Funny how the outcome was the same...a knock on the head and the perpetrator fleeing :o I guess there is not really not much difference in the ways Thais and farangs fight as so many would like us to believe.

But this was one-on-one. Not mob-handed. That's the big difference.
