October 9, 200718 yr Does anyone have a clue of any seed places in THAILAND to get Honeysuckle seeds or any other vine type varieties that smell good. I know I can order from the U.S. as it is a native species from there, but was curious if I can find a source up here for the seeds or some aromatic vine seeds or shoots for my garden project? Thanks guys & gals!

Many of the climbers that I have come across (inc honeysuckle, jasmine etc) are as easy to start as taking a cutting or snip from whatever takes your fancy, I have been known to do moonlight walk with secateurs, but most gardeners never refuse if you ask them nicely for a slip to strike. Getting things started here in the tropics is not the problem, it's keeping them trimmed back.
October 9, 200718 yr I would also like to have some Honeysuckle and some climbing Jasmine in our garden - does anyone know the correct Thai words to ensure I buy the right seedlings at the market? Thanks in advance, JxP
October 9, 200718 yr I have some honeysuckle that I started recently - and it rooted from a cutting, no problemo. I can offer a package of three very nice smelling plants. Each grow bush-like up to 3 meters: 1. honeysuckle 2. a hedge type plant with small white flowers that smell wonderfull 3. Similar to #2 though with fist-sized bunches of small baby two-tone blue flowers that smell like dark Swiss chocolate (jing). Package of 3 cuttings of each plant (9 total) mailed to you for 300, I pay postage within Thailand. They're not already rooted, but I can almost guarantee that they'll root readily. If not, I'll send replacements. contact me if interested.
October 11, 200718 yr try this linkhttp://www.plantnames.unimelb.edu.au/Sorti...ex_general.html Good link, except the translations are Thai to English and not the other way around but an excellent resource all the same - thank you. JxP
