Sawadee ka!

I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this topic in or not, but I'm sorry if I've posted in the wrong section.

Well, I'm an undergrad planning to study in Thailand at the Chulalongkorn university during the summer, for a few months (1 semester or trimester, not sure yet) in their international program. I've already check out their website and what they're requirements were and what documents I'd need, but I still have some questions I've been wondering about...

Do I have to know how to read/write thai? I'm full Thai but has lived in the U.S. for 15 years, so I know how to speak but not write, I can read a little. Do they require any kind of written test or thai proficiency test?

Is it hard for most international students to get into Chulalongkorn university? What are some of the main things do they look for (such as grades, english speaking skills, etc.)

Do they need to interview students or anything like that before accepting?

Since I'm just going to be there for 1 semester or a few trimester as an international student, would it be easier for me to get accepted when comparing to students in thailand who are applying to get in?

Other than Chulalongkorn university, what other Top rank university is there in Thailand...I've only heard of Thammasat uni.

I think that's all of the questions I have right now....thank you very much in advance, I'd really love to go study in Thailand, it'll be such a fun and interesting experience for me. I'm planning on doing it next year, so all of your answers would be greatly appreciated :o
