I would like to open a Thai Stocktrading account. Is it possible for a falang to do this. Has anyone any recommendation for falang friendly firms. I live in Pattaya so a company with an office there would be preferable

Call Bangkok Bank and explain what you want. If there is an office and representative in Pattaya that can help you, hopefully they will let you know.

Of course, you might get faster, more dependable results if the caller speaks in Thai, but the main BB bank has plenty of English speakers on the phone who can help you.

Once you have an account set up, it may not matter that much if the rep is local.
