Hi, got a problem! My Thai g/f is coming to hopefully visit me in UK, however she has not flown by herself out of TL before, so i want to fly to BKK to meet her then next day fly back together to UK..after her visit she would be fine to fly back herself to TL. Now how do i go about booking my flight here in UK so that my return flight from BKK is the same as her outbound flight to UK?? she doesnt know how to book a flight also, so big problem getting everything in sync! Also how then would I even attempt to get seats together so she is not on her her for my flight back and her flight put?? Any ideas on this problem anyone?? Can I book mine and her flights all in UK? Many thanks!

SO you fly to bkk following day fly back ! christ m8 all youll do is sleep next to her , ( not to mention the 600/700 quid youll spend on the flight ! )

upgrade her to buisiness class with the money you'd spend on your ticket , pretty sure shell be taken care of there !

If your heart is set on accompanying her back to UK, go see a travel agent, and get them to book all of the fares.

They can book it all and make sure that you are on the same flight back to the UK.

When you check in for your BKK-LHR flight, you will get seated together. (unless you are in business class and she is econ.)

Try sticking a post in the General section of the forum to see if any members are flying Bkk-LHR that week, that might save you an airfare.

yes, thanks great idea! appreciate your time and effort

I flew my g/f out to Australia for the first time in May.I was supposed to fly with her but a mix up with her visa meant I had to fly home and she flew out by herself. She flew with Thaiair, not the cheapest but cheaper then me flying back to fly with her.I explained that there should be no problem and there wasn't .The thaiair staff were most helpful. It's was a big achievment for her to do and also explained to her the money saved on flights could be spent on her on her arrival, amazing how confidence grows.

Best of luck,I dealt with a lady in Bangkok who has own travel agency, she spoke english well and explained airport proceedings with her.Manida was her name, she has a web site,

Thommo :o

Easy, just get me to check availability for her and you, then u buy UK BKK return over there and Thai agency does equiv for her and can match up seats, not impossible by any means, and seats can always be reallocated at check in

Book her on Thai airways or EVA Air (who have 50% of their attendants Thai speaking) and fly non stop. Tell the airline she is a first time flyer and she will be looked after at every stage in Bangkok and off at LHR and brought through immigration, baggage and customs by a chaperone. No need to travel to Bangkok yourself.

I had first time flyers booked on Malaysian Airlines HKT to LHR and they looked after them at every stage even upgrading them to business once on the plane on the way out as it was easier for the staff.
