Anyone Help With Flight From Bkk To Uk In Dec?

Featured Replies

Hi there, long shot this, but anyone travelling from BKK to Manchester Airport around the 1st of December 2007? My Thai g/f is hopefully coming to visit me from that date, and would appreciate anyone helping her out if needed with travelling as she has never flown out of Thailand before, this would save me a round trip of flying to BKK and bringing her back the next day!! thanks..

I think most major airlines make provision for unaccompanied travellers, but I will assume that she is a little to old to use that. :o

Don't take this the wrong way, but you don't need to wrap people in cotton wool. All she needs to do is get to the BKK airport and the rest is easy. You can meet her at Manchester. If she can't manage a trip on her own for 12 hours, how will she cope staying in the UK?

What she look like? I've been waiting to have a flight with a sexy lady on a long haul. :o

Only winding, I can see how it might be helpful - especially with help on the forms and making one s way around the airport. :D Good luck mate!!!

What airline is she flying with?I know my wife when she flew with EVA air was assisted.I informed them that she had never flown before and they said they were happy to help. Many airlines offer a meet and greet service which might be of help as well. But try contacting the airline and explain the situation and ask how they can help.Good luck!

A friends wife got great assistance from BKK to HK then she was basically abandoned at Heathrow to get to Edinburgh - a Thai student found her in tears and got her to Terminal 1

Is she on a direct flight - if so she should be fine but do ask the airline for help.

I am sure she will be fine but it might be daunting for someone who has never travelled outside of thaiand before.
