Tourism As A Science?

Hi,

I wonder if someone has studied tourism of Thailand.

I need some very specific data - like the types (also the differencies between them) and description (by law, textbooks, etc.) of the tourist agencies there, the types and brief description of the accomodation places (hotels, motels, hostels, etc., classification - requirements for higher classification, etc.) there and also - the "products" these two (agencies and hotels) offer (like cruises, accomodation, vacations, excursions, room service) - with a short description... It may include also names of the biggest agencies and hotels and also some numbers - like a statistics - how many visitors have been in luxurious hotels for example, how many tourists bought cruises (like a percentage)...I have to do that until Tuesday. It is a task given me from my university and I don't know how I could deal with it for such a short time. I could find only general information on the internet - like tourist destinations, tourist attractions, list of tour agencies and hotels, etc. I have already checked the site www.thailandtourism.com but I couldn't find any relevant information for my task.

I was GIVEN that time! It wasn't given to me 2 months, neither 1 week ago! Also, I want someone from Thailand to help me find the materials! And also, I have one exam this weekend, also I have one more to write for Monday, and also I had too much other things to do last week, I am exhausted, I have big headache, I can't sleep, and I get very offended from your response. I don't want anyone to write it for me. I just need a source - a couple of pages of info would do it!

Also I can make guesses and maybe pretty good ones when referring to the situation in Bulgaria. (And by the way - they wanted in Bulgarian, so I will have to translate it as well) - what would you do if you were me? Fly to Thailand for the weekend and try finding some textbooks or their constitution, or their Laws for the tourism industry?? Or maybe go there and ask - hey, what would you call this company? Also, I am not having a dissertation to write. I have a new topic to write on (for a country, different than my own and a specific subject, not found so easy on the internet - although I can say that I am a very good searcher of information on the internet) every single week. Do you think it's easy? Give it try then, be my guest! I would give you some topics (not Tourism related, so that you can't say they would be helpful for me) and I would tell you - you have one week - give me this information - would you be able to do that? Don't tell me you are too busy - I am too busy too. And also - I have these constant headaches from 8 years - do you think it is easy? No, it isn't. And I have tried for hours to find information over the internet - but alas - I found none. And where else am I supposed to find it?? Or I should be a fortune-teller or extrasense??
