IBM tells users not to install Windows XP update

IBM warned that some high profile, business-critical applications are known to conflict with SP2 and Big Blue will deploy a customised version of SP2 when it has worked these out.

Pure rubbish, this does not apply to us. They (IBM) are just being careful due to their numerous specialized programs that they utilize within their enviroment.

I downloaded SP2 this morning and installed it in the local School's network, the local Wat's network and in my Desktops. Everything is runnign like a dream.

I strongly suggest that everyone upgrade asap but continue to use Explorers and email like the type provided by Mozilla. At least for the time being.
