Re-entry After Expiry Of 60 Day Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm sure there's an answer to my question on the forum somewhere but I'm unable to find it!

I have a 60 day tourist visa issued in Kota Bharu which I plan to extend by 30 days in Phuket. What are my options if I then wish to re-enter Thailand for another 2 - 3 months?

Can I obtain another 60 day tourist visa in KL?

Thanks in advance.

If this is your first tourist visa you should not have a problem obtaining another in KL.

Thanks lopburi - that's a great help as it is my first tourist visa.

Would the same answer apply if I used the Kota Bharu Consulate again?

I expect so but do not recommend that Consulate if entry is from Thailand to those not familiar with the situation.

KL it is then!

Cheers.
