OK, to help you get some feedback I am changing the topic title to help resaders identify the place.

Don't have any experience with it myself.

It's close to Fashion Island on the way to the new airport. I haven't used the place but seems very good although people have said it is one of the more expensive hospitals. Also a long way to go if your staying in the centre of town

Thanks Sheryl for your help.

Thanks Julie_f for your response. I should be visiting Thailand sometime in December, together with my Thai wife and 12 years old daughter. We will be staying in Nakhon Nayok, wife's hometown. Have a rough idea the location of the hospital. Hope to visit the hospital when I am there.

I gather Synphaet is particulalry known for IVF, if that is what you are looking at you might also want to contact Phyathai 2 Hospital which may be a bit less costly

http://www.phyathai.com/phyathai_english/s...er_women_p3.php

Least costly of all is Chulalonghorn (government hospital) which has a large and well regarded IVF clinic but of course, being a govt hospital, red tape and long waits would be likely.

We live in Kannayao area of Bangkok and not far from Synphaet Hospital. We have used this hospital a few times for minor aches/pains and were satisfied. They seem to have a good reputation. If you need more info post again.

Hi Sheryl. I am not going for IVF. Being blessed with a daughter is good enough for us. Thing is recently there was a article in the local newspaper about a woman with some form of chronic stiff neck for many years, similiar to mine, and was successfully treated in the hospital. This was told to me by my missus and insisted that I should give the hospital a visit.

My condition has been diagnosed as Spasmodic Torticolis by Singapore medical specialist and botox injection (costly and ineffective for me) is the only form of treatment.

Thanks Spaniel for the offer. I will be staying in Nakhon Nayok and will find a day to make a trip to the hospital when we are there sometime 2nd week december.

Plan to retire permanently in LOS when time comes.

I'm interested in the reputations and relative costs of hospitals in Bangkok since my partner and I are looking at

trying IVF in Thailand. We are in touch with the Jetanin and Ram hospitals but have no 'inside' knowledge about them.

[see our posting IVF in Thailand on [2] ].
