Hi, Would anyone be able to answer the following question for me please.

If I have a visa say a TV which is valid for 60 days, and after 30 days I decide to go to Cambodia for say 2 weeks and then return back to Thailand. Does leaving the country cancel the TV, also should I apply for a re-entry permit before I leave at passport control at the airport, and how many days visa would I then get on return.

Cheers in advanced.

Leaving will end any visa stay. A re-entry permit prior to leaving will allow you to continue your current permitted to stay until date when you return. In other words you can stay until the original time you were stamped on the visa entry. If original stamp date is until Dec 25 when you return that same Dec 25 date will be on your new stamp.
