SCB branch in Chiang Mai receives bomb threat

CHIANG MAI: -- A Siam Commercial Bank branch in this northern city received a bomb threat at noon Monday.

Bomb disposal experts are checking whether the threat at Meechoke branch was real or a hoax.

A telephone operator of the branch received a call, saying that a bomb had been planted at an ATM machine of the bank branch.
