mr_hippo
We have a motoring forum and a motorcycling forum, I am wondering if there is enough interest on here to start a cycling forum. This will cover all aspects of cycling [what to buy?, where to ride?, how to...?] and all disciplines [road bikes, tourers, mountain bikes and even unicycles] So how many of us would be interested? dantilley
Could be interested... Cycling's quite popular up in the north I believe.
nidge
Great idea, it would save me opening threads on motor bikes every time i read about a new "ride" .
gregybn
I'm just about outta Thailand after 2 years... but my wife and I probably biked about 5000km in the deep south during our time here. I could probably add a few comments on cycling (generally and specifically)

mr_hippo
Just bought a helmet camera and have loaded a few videos on YouTube - quality is not perfect but I'm getting better! The first attempt, camera mounted on the handlebars; too much vibration and shaking - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmglDQ7CX-c Tuesday's attempt, the camera was helmet mounted but was tilted - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtY5AKE1864

Did you buy the camera in Bangkok and if so, can I ask you where and how much you paid for it?
mr_hippo
I enjoyed that. Did you buy the camera in Bangkok and if so, can I ask you where and how much you paid for it? Got it from ebay, total cost including p&p was US$113.99 + 247Baht tax. Edited October 25, 2007 by mr_hippo
