Bleak Days Ahead In Udon Thani

Sadly I have to report that Mr City Lodge (Andy Wroe) has parted company with the hotel/resturant/bakery, by mutuel consent (as they say in football terms).

Andy has been the resident chef/baker at the City Lodge for several years (ever since his brother built the place) and has recently worked under several new managers.

Anyone who has visited Udon over the last few years will probably have eaten some of Andy's food, and no doubt had a chat with him about England/Thailand/Australia, or any other subject for that matter. His excellent bread, cakes, Indian curries and above all pizza's will be sorely missed by all of us.

Unfortunatly for us all, Andy is following in the footsteps of Preow (receptionist/waitress for three years), The Thai chef, and Tom the Greek (Bar manager), who have all left the City Lodge this year to go to pastures new, and none of them have been replaced !!

Here's hoping that Andy stays in Udon and finds himself a job where he can still bake bread, feed the falang masses, and supply bread to the many local bars who used his services.
