People do very strange things this time of year even in LOS and we must remember that tonight s the night Jason arrived in the States.

Tonight is trick or treat so all the spooks will be out, and the moon last night was really big full and Orange. Really do expect to see a spirit some day but have not.

I am not good at classifying ghosts, but isn't Phee Pob the one with the entrails hanging out?

My Issan g/f said her mother was possed by Phee Pob many years ago. A monk came to the house and did a n exorcism. My g/f was very young at the time but remembers the monk hitting her mother the blowing chile powder on to her face. He then later washed her face and Phee Pob was gone. Belive it or not.

Yep! I knew it. The production of a smooth, luminous-green glow is the trademark of a Phi Pob. Here a little collection on some haunting options:

Pee Nang Ta-kean

ghost_title.jpg

People rumor that this ghost is a beautiful-young lady ghost, haunt Hopea tree (especially old tree). So in the part, Thai people do not admire to plant Hopea.

Pee Pob (Ogre)

This ghost is never recovered, always haunt man's body and eat up his entrails then leave him. In publicity, it pretend to be ill, but it steal uncooked meat from villagers to eat at night.

Pee Nang Tanee

This ghost is a beautiful-young lady ghost and has same miracle power's Pee Nang Ta-kean, but haunt banana plant. Always appear in full moon night, in the part, Thai people do not admire to plant this kind of banana.

Without picture (regrettably): In Thai folklore, the phi poang khang is a black, monkey-like spirit that sucks the big toes of people sleeping in the jungle. Phi means "spirit."

reason for edit: addition of the toe-sucking spirit.
