Warrant Trading In Thailand

Featured Replies

hello,

i have a short question regarding to the possibilities of trading warrants and certificates on thai and foreign stocks at a thai exchange and/or OTC.

is there such kind of market? is there a warrant exchange (no futures and options)?

are there any online brokers who support otc trading for warrants in thailand?

are there any online brokers who support ordering over an api?

many thanks and best regards.

hi

some thai stocks has warrants. those you can trade via your broker or online.

as the above poster has mentioned one can trade warrants on the set, the more popular warrant trades are bay-w1 and ccet-w1

if you would like to convert warrants into shares and also find out the exercise prices and expiry dates on warrant conversions then it is advisable to contact www.tsd.co.th this is the section of the set which converts warrants into shares, pays out on dividends and generally will be able to answer any questions regarding thai stocks which have warrants attached

As the previous 2 posters have mentioned you can buy warrants in Thai stocks.

However there are very strict rules for the listing of those warrants and the stocks themselves. There is no OTC market in Thailand and any unofficial 'otc' trades are subject to capital gains tax unlike the SET.
