Actually I think he means an Aussie adaption of dim sums called dim sims. It seems to be a national pride issue if you call them dim sums, but I think of them as dim sums. (Don't tell my Aussie bar-owner friend I said that!)

actually, most of us call em 'dimmys'.

The Aussie ones I’ve never seen. I’ve been asked to bring some from Oz a few times.

The Chinese type are available nearly everywhere. 7-11, MK etc.

MK have a whole trolley full of them...and very tasty too.

Royal Kitchen - Thonglor (bangkok) is very very good if you want authentic cantonese food.
