This Is Good

I was in a local sub-branch of the Siam Commercial. I don't hold an account there. I asked if they could change a few hundred baht's worth of Hong Kong Dollars into Baht. (It was a very small branch and had no sign concerning currency exchange.) "Certainly" said the cashier. She called up pictures on the screen of HKD to verify them and then did the exchange with no commission and the normal competitive rates that are on offer at all Siam Commercial branches. I bet they wouldn't do that at non-city centre branches of the awful Krung Thai though I am prepared to be corrected if I am wrong.
