hacker
I just ordered Dell Vostro 1400 at Commart and now I'm eagerly waiting for it to arrive at my doorsteps. Anyone has ordered Dell in Bangkok? They told me they'll deliver within 7 to 10 days. Normally, they deliver on time or late or earlier? What if I'm not at home what they come? pitrevie
I just ordered Dell Vostro 1400 at Commart and now I'm eagerly waiting for it to arrive at my doorsteps. I hope you don't experience the service I received from Dell. I bought a desktop from them less than 2 years ago and now I want to fit a media card reader. I contacted Dell but they say these are no longer manufactured. I pointed out that these units appear on most of their current models and fit into a standard computer bay but they have not replied despite repeated requests. I bought my Dell from Dell Malaysia but now they have a Thai office but neither office will reply to my emails. I was going to buy another Dell early next year but I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole now. I think I will build my own. If you send emails to Dell Thailand you get an immediate acknowledgment from the person who deals with their corporate sales who forwards your emails to another person asking them to contact you but who never does. I also tried to contact Dell USA but they are not interested. Now I make do with a USB connected media card reader.
Digitalbanana
.. Dell ... are not interested. Much the same I have found, and the situation is magnified in Thailand with the general Thai attitude to service as well. One Dell was enough for me - that was ten years ago...sounds like things are much the same. I had to fly down to Singapore and fix my laptop when it needed service.
