The only Embassy in Dubai is the British one - other countries do have Consulates there

but not Thailand.

Most Foreign Embassies in the UAE are in Abu Dhabi.

You could try a Travel Agent in Dubai to see if they are able to process one for you

in the Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi ...

Whether it is possible to obtain a Thai Tourist Visa in UAE

or whether you would get 60 or 30 days given to you by Immiration on arrival

will depend on what Passport you are holding (please see posting Notes)

Sorry I should have been more clear. Im British and this month wil be my last VOA then mid decembe I will have to go somewhere to get a toruist visa, I was planning on going to malaysia, but have friends in Dubai so was considering going there for a short break and if possible getting my visa there, seems it wont be that easy.
