Mae Sot

Featured Replies

Has anyone been to Mae Sot lately? I read the area flooded. Is the border open again? Any updated information would be appreciated.

i thought the rainy season is officially over, so extremely unlikely to have any remains of flooding left.. As for the border, cannot vouch, but 99% open, because being one of 2 main borders, if it gets closed, you'll know it from the newspapers.. Also if u go to thai immigration website, you'll find list of checkpoints, pick up the phone,& you'll know for sure

Hi Border is open. Flood lasted one day Oct 10th. Same old same old Mae sot
