I currently use Schwab in the US and I am considering moving to the Hong kong branch. I was curious if there are any advantages for US citizens regarding brokerage services and taxes?

thanks

I too use Charles Schwab in the US, and was advised not to switch to HK, although they would do it for me. Taxation of US citizens is well-documented, and it won't make a difference where yo do the trading. What is different is that Schwab HK is controlled by different laws, subject to the edicts of HK SAR and mainland China. Too, the services are different, and you should be aware.
