For the start I'm thai married to British guy, and he's got his work permit for 2 years now, and 2 months ago we wanted to close down the company and open a new company but the girl at Business department said we need to have no income for 3-4 months before we can do that,so we opened new company and we tried to add new company in work permit ( can't wait for 4 month with no income, you know),so this is what happened at the labor Dep.

1. the officer told us to change the address for the first company,and we did ( she said it's a law office and too many farang use this address already,even know we used it for 2 years now)

2.then we were told to change the address in the work permit because it's Bangkok address ( and he's been using it for 2 years with no problem)

So for more than 2 weeks we've been to Labor Department for almost 10 times and it's still not done yet

I know still many farang use this law office address,it's visa and accounting ((remove 'I think' name of company)). Some people we know still use that address and there's one dive shop i know that has guesthouse which is not registered and his work permit only allow him to work for diving only, and he has a second branch that's not registered and why he's still doing it with no problem, when we try to do everything right, it 's so difficult.

Where's justice?

Consider to the fact that "Justice" doesn't exist and for your problems I may say that if the fact was that your work permit was obtained illegally or it did not comply with any rulez or laws then it surely going to cause you problem but do not let me say that "money" could solve things out but the immigration officer would not be able to leave it that way for long time so yes you have to do it legally under the rule and law, otherwise better pay them and remain silent. I hope you know the law and rule for that very well. Best of luck
