timekeeper
the past 4 years on the 25th, i have had xmas dinner with my family and a few friends at Casa Pascal and whilst its always been excellent, i have always found it a bit austere. i am looking for a change of venue with a little more of a celebration party atmosphere. any thoughts anyone? Mobi
Last year I took my family to the Bang Sarae Club. The fare was excellent, the hosts very friendly and attententive, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in a nice, festive atmosphere with other diners. Not particularly noisy or riotous, but certainly not 'severe'. IMO and great place for a Christmas family lunch by the sea, that lasted, from memory, about 4 hours. timekeeper
thank you, thats a good idea. i went there only the other day for a coffee, it reminded me of a old time colonial officers club. it would be a great place to have a wedding and a reception i thought. i will look into that.
