Private Nurse (rn)

Hi,

Am new here and have not found what I am after...so will put my own posting in

I am Registered Nurse in Australia. At the moment I specialise in the care of elderly people, so I am

accustomed to feeding people, personal hygiene (toilet, showering etc), assisting with mobilisation of

ambulant residents or those that are non ambulant (need wheel chair or cant move), and comfortable with attending

to dressings and wound management. I also do some work with elderly residents who suffer from dementia and other

forms of mental illness.

I am loking to move to Thailand in July 2008 and am wanting to do work as a private nurse, but am not sure where to start.

So, I thought I would start here. I am not sure if there is a demand for private registered nurses, but I am hoping I may get

some information from here.

Ok...I hope that I hear from anyone that has more info or indeed those that are looking for a registered nurse to care for them

or a loved one.
