Hey all,

My fiancee and I have been in Thailand (Chiang Mai) for 6 months now and did 3 entry stamps, then followed it up with a single entry from Vientiane and a 1 month extension. We are planning our wedding in February on Koh Samui and want to ensure we have no visa problems this late in the game. What are our best options??? After the wedding we hope to continue living here. (We are both American)

I would make another attempt for a 2 entry from Vientiane and accept a single if that is all you can get. As for long term you do not mention any employment, study or other reason for visa/extensions so believe you will continue to have visa difficulty if your intent it to stay here.

We plan to work after the wedding, just don't want to commit to anything before then need 3 weeks off in Feb. We are also studying Buddhism and attending meditation retreats.
