Help In Visa Extension

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I have a single O which is expiring in 2 week's time. The problem is I've been using my marriage cert. for the past year to get my multiple entries in S'pore which they don't issue anymore unless you can show them 400k in the bank which I don't have(have around 150 in local bank).

As I no longer keep in touch with my wife whom the marriage cert. which I currently use & we've been separated for more than 4 years already. Will be getting a divorce in my country next year which is outrageously expensive. I need to stay here to take care & be with my kids from my present wife(we are not married yet) & I really hate to leave them while they are growing up. It would just break my heart if I'm not able to spend X'mas & the new year with them not to mention without having a father around.

What are my options of getting an extension where the documents I have are only the marriage cert. & my bank account? Any chances & suggestions of getting a extension on my current visa or getting a one year multiple O visa with only the docs I have would be appreciated.

A number of members have been reporting getting multi non imm o in Penang. That seems your best bet. They will cetainly give you a single entry which is better than nothing.

What nationality are you Tree?

I suspect your chance anywhere in the area is less than good - All Consulates that I am aware of require a current copy of wife ID card to prevent exactly what you are trying to do. There is no reason why you could not obtain a tourist visa and if your kids have you listed as father you might be able to obtain single entry non immigrant visas with birth certificates.

I was assuming he had a copy of her ID Card. If he does not then yes he has not much of a chance.

Appreciate the input guys, thanks anyway.
