Google Maps Can Now Pinpoint Location Via Mobile

I am not sure what you mean. Are you saying that you gave your Thai mobile phone number to somebody and when that person tries to call you he gets a recorded message saying that it is an invalid number? If so, is that person trying to call you from outside Thailand?

No I'm not saying that!

Apologies if i didn't make my post clear enough!

I was referring to a problem i was having with google mobile maps.

On the google mobile maps web page it asks you to enter your mobile telephone number & a link will be sent to that number bys SMS to download the software to the telephone.

On entering my AIS telephone number into the box i was getting an error saying "Invalid Number".

Tried umpteen times only to meet with the problem.

I finally was able to download the Google Mobile Maps software by using my mobile phones browser!

Worked 1st time!

Very impressed with this new software from google!

certainly worth the effort.

Thanks anyway

I looked at that website and now I see what you mean. It seems designed to accept only US mobile numbers.
