Information On Kantharalak

Hi,

In Febuary I will be visiting my girlfriends home in Kantharalak to stay for a while. She lives in the village called Kantompattana (spelling may be wrong).

Can anyone give me any advise on what to expect, are there any towns nearby, are there any fellow farang in the area.

There are a few of us around there. I am about 30km away I have seen a few other farangs in the new Tesco there. Life is normal Thai rural life, expect the unexpected. All will be well.

I live part time in Khun Han about 30km away. Kantharalak is the nearest 'town' to my village......

THERE ARE AT LEAST TWO FARANG ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE AREA, ONE IN KANTARALAK,( KRACHANG YAI OWNED BY GARY ,AN AUSTRALIAN )AND ONE ABOUT 30 KMS SOUTH. She often works away from home, she had a karaoke near Kantharalak in early 2004...
