Us - Phuket

Featured Replies

previously I have landed Bkk & enjoyed / endured a few days in the big mango before going on to phuket.

I was quite miserable on my last 4 day stay in lower sukhumvit ..

I've outgrown the obsessive phantip software shopping & compulsive sukhumvit disco shuffling.

+ the luggage off the carrousel & to hotel / unpack / repack did I remember to look under the bed / check in - out / back to swampypoon / then on to phuket totals to almost a full day of hassling & shuffling.

how do I book eva from the us with a bkk-phuket carrier connection?

I book transpacific direct with eva on line.

the ticket to Bkk is easy for me to arrange with the air line from here on the us west coast

+ I enjoy eva evergreen service very very much .. wish they went to phuket.

I am hoping you more experienced travelers can help with suggestions how to make reservations & arrange for luggage to be transferred from eva to "? airline" for the hop to phuket.

The eva flight lands about noon is all goes as scheduled. & a several hour layover -4 hours is ok- is perfectly acceptable.

I would prefer a several hour layover .. I've been caught in a "eva taipei plane change shuffle" once before & being the conservative type I'd prefer plenty of time to ensure connections.

will i need to clear immigration & customs in Bkk or can my luggage be transferred to the phuket leg flight carrier without my needing to lug suitcases around the swampy-hugely-poon airport?

thanks guys .. & gals
