Gang Steal Money from Englishman

A gang of four Thai people was arrested for pickpocketing a passenger on a baht bus in the afternoon of 27th November.

Police officers arrived at the scene in front of the Soi Honey Inn off Soi Buakhao to find two men and two women aged

from 16 to 25 being detained by members of the public. An Englishman, 53 year old Mr. Michael Ashworth claimed that

he had 4,000 baht stolen from his pocket by one of the gang. After an initial search, the money was found on one of the

women. They were all taken back to the police station for further investigation.
