since the King's birthday passed, was that song supposed to be leading up to it, and now they will stop playing it as often, or are they still going to play it as often? thank you.

Your thread title led me to think of one particular song. So I dropped in and - it WAS about this song. :o I don't think they'll stop playing it. No replacement probably.

If it is the song I think it is, I have sufferd it on the village PA system for months. Every day at 6.am and in the evening. Its driving me mad. Its awful. And Yes I wore the yellow shirt and have a yellow wrist band. Just cant stand the song.

Dont know if that is it but they started playing it just before the Queens birthday. Having heard it every morning at 6.am thumping out ot the village PA system. really does not endear me to the song.

Anyway , Happy Birthday to a great man.
